april2008   Spatial Intelligence is awarded the NSW Department of Health PACIS contract
   

We are pleased to announce that the NSW Department of Health has awarded Spatial Intelligence the contract to provide the Medical Indemnity Insurance Policies and Claims Information System (PACIS). We look forward to working with the Department of Health on this interesting project.

Randwick City Council and WSN Environmental Solutions select the award winning WCTS to manage waste collection for the Randwick City Council area

september2007   WCTS wins second place in the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards
   

Ryde City Council submitted their new "Electronic Waste and Recycling Bin Tagging System" to the 2007 Australian Engineering Excellence Awards in the category of Control Systems. Their system is an implementation of our Waste Collection and Tracking System (WCTS). The entry was awarded second place to Telstra's entry for their "Next G National High Speed Wireless Network Deployment". Third place was awarde to BlueScope Steel for their "Western Sydney Service Centre" entry.

This award is testament of Spatial Intelligence's expertise in software design, development and delivery. We are very proud to be part of this award winning system.

august2007   SI appointed to Department of Education Science and Training Panel
  Spatial Intelligence has been successfully selected by the Australian Department of Education Science and Training to be on the ICT Technical and Advisory Services.


march2006   Ryde City Council and WSN select WCTS
   

The Waste Collection and Tracking System (WCTS) has been selected by Ryde City Council and WSN Environmental Solutions to manage and track waste collection in the Council.

october2005   Spatial Intelligence appointed to maintain MSB PMS
   

The Mine Subsidence Board (MSB) has appointed Spatial Intelligence to support, maintain and enhance the MSB's Property Management System (PMS).

The MSB already uses Spatial Intelligence's document management system DocuMap. The PMS and DocuMap are tightly integrated together as well as being integrated with the MSB's GIS (ESRI's ArcGIS) to provide the MSB with a flexible and seem less solution to manage their high volume of property transactions.

december2004 SI appointed to Department Of Commerce Panel 2036
  Spatial Intelligence has been successfully selected by the NSW Department of Commerce to be on the panel 2036 - Software Development Services.

In order to be selected for the panel Spatial Intelligence had to satisfy a number of rigorous requirements including:
  • Experience
  • Expertise
  • Quality assurance
  • Insurance
  • Price

Any Department of Commerce buyers, including State and Local government bodies, now have the option to negotiate directly with Spatial Intelligence without the need to go to public tender. This
  • Saves time and money for the buyer
  • Provides a simple and established framework to govern the project
  • Gives the buyer the confidence that Spatial intelligence can deliver as we have been pre-veted by the Department of Commerce

The panel runs for a period of 4 years.

november2004 Compliance Support System rolled out at Sydney Catchment Authority
  The Compliance Support System (CSS) has been successfully rolled out by SI at the Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA).

The CSS is a map enabled compliance support system that will record all information on SCA compliance issues. During the project Spatial Intelligence successfully undertook a variety of major tasks including:
  • Determine requirements
  • Design a solution
  • Build the solution
  • Roll out the application
  • Train end users
  • Support and maintain the system

january2004 DocuMap rolled out at Mine Subsidence Board
  DocuMap has been rolled out at the Mine Subsidence Board (MSB) as one of the core components in the new MSB IMS (Information Management System).

The IMS operates over a number of geographically separated offices and is designed to provide a high level of availability even when third party inter-office communications are down. In addition, the MSB has a large and complex GIS data set that needs to be viewed and queried according to strict business rules.

november2003 Commended for Excellence in Planning

The Planning Institute Australia awarded the Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) Excellence in Planning for their Development Assessment Register (DAR) application. The DAR was developed by Spatial Intelligence for the SCA to manage the assessment of development applications within the Sydney water catchment. The award fell into the category of 'Environmental Planning or Conservation' and was presented on the 20th of November 2003 by David Broys, president of New South Wales division.

The award is evidence of Spatial Intelligence's software development capabilities and and recognises our ability to deliver superior applications.
